Scuba Refresher

It doesn’t matter who you trained with or what agency your certification is from; as long as you are qualified to dive, we can refresh your skills.

Minimum age: 10 years

Course prerequisites: PADI (Junior) Scuba Diver certification or proof of entry-level diver certification from another training organisation with four open water dives

What will I do?

You will brush up on your scuba skills, improve your diving ability and get your scuba gear ready for your next diving holiday. You go over the skills you learned during your initial training and then practise them in the pool.

Completing your Scuba Refresher at Aquasport is a great way to refresh your scuba diving skills in a safe environment.

How long will it take?

You can complete your refresher in a couple of hours if your skills are not too rusty! But if it’s been a while it may be best to allow a little extra time to give you more practice. If this is the case, please give us a call to discuss your needs so that we can schedule a longer pool session.

With all the training facilities in one place we can offer you a package unmatched by anyone. If you think the Scuba Refresher might not be for you there are other options available such as the PADI ReActivate™ programme which allows more scope for knowledge and skills review. When you complete your refresher is up to you. Aquasport can offer flexible pool times so we go along at your pace, not ours.

What will I need?

Just your certification card to get going! If you hold a PADI certification don’t worry if you don’t have it available; we can easily check your details online. You will also need to fill out a self-certification medical statement. If you have any medical conditions that you think may prevent you from completing your refresher, please feel free to contact us beforehand and we will try to be of assistance.

Everything you need to complete the programme including all the scuba equipment needed is included in the cost. However, if you own your own equipment and it is within its service period please feel free to bring it along to use.

When can I start?

With our own pool on-site, we are able to offer weekday, evening and weekend sessions throughout the year. Please call the centre on 0121 706 6628 or email info@aquasportonline.com to check availability and book a specific date.

Where can I go from here?

Once you have refreshed your skills you can enrol onto any one of our continuing education programmes, hire scuba equipment from our rental store, or maybe come along on a club evening and dive with one of our staff members to reacquaint you with open water diving. On our club dives we take everything at an easy pace and just enjoy ourselves.
